Places To Go … To Drop Off Toys For Tots And Peruse “Sparklers” …

November 18, 2010 by Barbara

We are an “OFFICIAL” “Drop Off” site for
Toys for Tots.

Argenti Designer Jewelers is again collecting toys for children in need of this joyous holiday spirit of giving. Last year we were able to give TFT a huge amount of toys for children with the help of Lauderdale By The Sea and the many friends of Argenti Designer Jewelers generosity.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

The History of the Toys for Tots Foundation:

In 1947, a group of Marines recognized that there were children in the community could benefit from the generosity of local citizens. The Marines Toys for Tots program was established then and has been going strong ever since. The Marines took this mission into their hands and have given all of their efforts for many years. The purpose of this program is to send a message of hope to the children of the community.

A Message of Hope:

The Marines at the Hialeah Marine Corps Reserve Center distributed over 400,000 toys to children of our community last year. We ask each and every willing member of our community to help a child this Christmas. Imagining the sad look on a child’s face when he or she discovers that Santa Claus missed delivering toys to his or her house, is unbearable. Every child deserves a chance to celebrate the holidays with a new toy to play with. A new unwrapped toy or a few dollars donated will greatly impact a child’s life this season because they will know that someone out there cares. Thank you for making a difference in your community and for helping Toys for Tots make a child’s Christmas wish come true.

Thank you,

Mark Silver

Since 1775 the Marine Corps has defended freedom and democracy – A duty they have fulfilled with honor, courage, and commitment. As they have fulfilled that duty, Marines have earned a well deserved reputation for toughness.
